Gonçalves Gets His Second Victory In The CSI Casas Novas

The main difference of this show is the score since each of the obstacles riders overcome makes them accumulate points in the least time possible. Gonçalves has demonstrated to be an expert at this type of competitions which require speed. For such an occasion he jumped into the arena with one of his best horses, In Chala D’en Haut, the same one with which he wan another prize yesterday. Again, the Portuguese rider finished in a clear round at a time mark of 47,60 seconds. This victory was not only great for Gonçalves for that reason. In addition, this is the 100th International Prize that he has accumulated in a Show-Jumping. “In Chala D’en Haut is a specialist at these competitions where obstacles are not so high, but where being fast is more necessary”. Gonçalves wanted to highlight his horse’s “elasticity” with which he hopes to continue getting more victories since it is still a very young animal. The second classified in the Eroski Center Trophy was another specialist at fast competitions: Michel Hecart. The French rider –who wan the opening competition of the Show Jumping- was able to finish the course in 47,79 seconds on the back of Nokia de Brekka. Third position was for the British rider Daniel Nielson and Chauvanist, who finished in 48,91 seconds. The same rider obtained the fourth position but with a different horse, High Tone Z. Fifth position was for the Spanish horsewoman Natalia Golding and Candy, who finished the course in 49,67 seconds.
