Víctor Bettendorf foiled a Galician triumph in the CASAS NOVAS GRAND PRIX

The Casas Novas Grand Prix promised a great show to close the CSI4* A Coruña and did not disappoint the audience that filled the stands of the equestrian center located in Arteixo, A Coruña, this Sunday afternoon.

A test in heights of 1.60m, in two rounds, in which 35 participants competed to be the best of this Grand Prix. Only 11 of them qualified for a second round that kept the audience in suspense until the last moment. 

The great winner of this afternoon was Victor Bettenford, with an incredible ride in which he managed to unseat the local rider, Diego Ramos Maneiro, by stopping the stopwatch at 39.28s . A feat of great difficulty that he achieved with "Foxy de la Roque".

Despite not getting the first place, one of the great protagonists of the day, and of the weekend, was Diego Ramos Maneiro. The rider from A Coruña was playing at home and did not want to leave anyone indifferent in this Grand Prix. In front of his home crowd, he performed an incredible test that only Victor Bettenford could overcome, thus securing his second place. Diego Ramos marked a time of 43.47s riding "Encantado C'SG".

Close to this second place was the Swedish rider, Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli, with a time of 44.75, achieved with her mare "Deesse de Coquerie". 

The fourth and fifth places of the great test were completed by the Irish Billy Twomey, with "Chat Botte E.D, and the Spanish Armando Trapote, with "Cochiloco PS".
