Pedro Mateos repeats podium at the Lexus Trophy

Pedro Mateos and Ultra Lord demonstrated once again  their good fit in Casas Novas on being proclaimed winners in the Prize Lexus. Yesterday, this pair was second in the Prize Inaugural of this edition at the international jumping competition in A Coruña and today they set  the best time in the 1.30 metre test on the scale Speed and Handines: 54.20 seconds.
Mateo’s output to track left the French Nina Mallevaey  behind, who already played with the prize thanks to her  54.72 seconds on Harley. But the local audience still enjoyed one more surprise, since Alba Valley Espinedo, penultimate to track, took the third place of the podium on horse Tresor de Varende with 55.82 seconds. Alba thus relegated her brother Paul to fourth place. He was the protagonist yesterday since he  lifted the Prize Inaugural on the same horse, Danthe RDPS. Both were fast  rounds, but only Alba was able not to penalize seconds by knockdowns. Both came out to track twice, and on two occasions managed to qualify in the top ten.

The winning quintet was completed by Jesús Garmedia on Llain Chamosas. Despite setting  a winning time, 53.20 seconds, a knockdown  turned him  away from the podium.
