Kevin González de Zárate brings the first Spanish triumph to the CSI4* A Coruña in the Massimo Dutti Trophy
The rider Kevin González de Zárate got the first Spanish triumph in CSI4* A Coruña this afternoon, when he won the Massimo Dutti Trophy. Riding Quattila de Glos, the Basque finished with a time of 57.52 seconds. The rider is facing his first competitions with this 13-year-old, the same with which he was second yesterday in the Trofeo Marqués de Riscal and seventh in the Lexus Trophy this morning.
A long awaited achievement for the Galician fans who, however, had to suffer when a fierce Gudrun Patteet launched for the first place riding Sea Coast Ferly. The Belgian has tasted the triumph in Arteixo, but finally a few hundredths left her in second place. Completing the podium there was another Spanish rider, Diego Pérez Bilbao, who finished with a time of 58.94 riding Quinty du Buisson. Just 7 hundredths behind, Aldrick Cheronnet finished off the podium of winners for the first time in this competition.
The Longines Trophy will start at 17:30. Last test today, which is also the most difficult: with a height of 1.50 meters and under the Winning Round scale.
