CSI 5*W A Coruña 2024 kicks off

After passing the veterinary inspection, the horses are now ready for this weekend's classes
The International Jumping Competition of A Coruña, held for the eighth consecutive year as part of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup, starts tomorrow with a full sports program.

This weekend will be disputed five scoring events for the Longines FEI Ranking, with a total of more than € 722,000 in prize money. Among the most outstanding events are the Longines Grand Prix, which will be held on Saturday night and will distribute € 170,000, and the Longines FEI Grand Prix World Cup-Trophy Casas Novas, which will close this edition with a prize of € 320,000.

Throughout Thursday morning, all registered horses successfully passed the veterinary inspection and are in perfect condition for a weekend of high competition.

The action will begin on Friday, December 6 with two tests in the 1* category. At 14:00h, the Inaugural Trophy (1.30m) will be contested, followed by the NH Collection Trophy (1.40m) at 15:30h.

The CSI5-W* category will also start on Friday with the Caser Grupo Helvetia Trophy at 18:15h (1.45m), and the CaixaBank Trophy at 21:15h (1.50m).
