Amelie Gachoud claims another win at the CSI1* A Coruña

Gachoud secured the Porsche Trophy after delivering the quickest performance in the 1.30m class.

At around 13:30, the first event of this Saturday, December 6, took place at Casas Novas Equestrian Center. The Porsche Trophy was a speed and handiness competition with obstacles at 1.30m, featuring 23 riders.

The victory went again to Amelie Gachoud, earning her second trophy of the weekend after winning Friday’s Veolia Trophy. Riding Hello Franklin, she stopped the clock at 66.35 seconds, being the fastest in the first class of the day.

The British rider received the trophy from Jordi Curros, Manager of Porsche Center A Coruña.

The podium was completed by two Spanish riders: Galician rider Javier González Fraga, “Fino,” who was just 0.08s away from taking first place in front of his home crowd riding Obolesnky JGF; and the binomy formed by Íñigo Fernández de Mesa and Casper de Luxe with a time of 68.64s.

Fourth and fifth place went to two Spanish riders, Micaela Álvarez Gutiérrez and Ainoa Calviño Rabón.
