All set for the start of the CSI5*W A Coruña 2025
After passing the vet-check, riders and horses are now ready for the competition, which begins this Friday, December 5.
Casas Novas turns 25 and is celebrating this weekend with a new edition of the CSI, which once again forms part of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup, with a full sports program. Over the weekend, five 5-star category classes and six 1-star category classes will take place, highlighting the Casas Novas Longines FEI World Cup Grand Prix on Sunday.
As usual, on Thursday morning, all horses passed the vet-check, an examination to ensure they are in optimal condition to compete during the weekend.
The action will kick off on Friday, December 5, from 2:00 PM with two 1-star category classes: the Veolia Trophy and the NH Collection Trophy, with heights of 1.30m and 1.40m, respectively. These two classes will serve as a precursor to the start of the CSI5*W, which will feature the Checkpoint Trophy (1.45m) at 6:15 PM and the Caixabank Trophy (1.50m) at 9:15 PM.
In addition to enjoying the performances of top international riders, attendees at Casas Novas Equestrian Center this weekend will have access to a wide gastronomic offering, with a lot of local products from Miga, Peculiar, Taberna Hokuto, Sodexo, and Adriana Cabot. Moreover, Casas Novas will provide a coffee service throughout the competition, thanks to WACO.
This marks the true countdown to a new edition of one of the most important equestrian events of the year in Spain, featuring top-level athletes and a perfectly prepared setting for the occasion.
