Karina Aziz, winner of the Opening Trophy in Casas Novas

The thirty-first edition of the Casas Novas International Show Jumping started this morning with the celebration of the traditional Casas Novas Trophy, the first opportunity to see the pairs on the track of the equestrian center. The competition began on time at 13 PM and took place under table fault and time with obstacles of a height of 1.30 meters. 28 horsemen and women from nine different countries competed for the trophy. After a hard-fought contest, the winner was the Canadian Karina Aziz, riding Roosters Fleur van Betz, with a time of 54.01 seconds. She was followed in the ranking by the Spanish rider Julio Gonzalez Robinson, riding Insua, with a time of 58.27. In third position, the couple formed by the Portuguese Ruben Pereira Gomes and Charme of Atie stood Z. The CSI competition does not stop at Casas Novas with the Turkish Airlines Trophy at 15 PM.
