Casas Novas is prepared for its winter show
INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS AND THE SPANISH OLYMPIC TEAM
The contest counted among its participants with the best international riders as the Egyptian Karim El Zoghby, who will try to continue his winning streak after winning one of the tests of the CSI5* in Madrid; or the winner of the Longines Grand Prix last year Leopold van Asten, becoming the only rider to have won the Grand Prix of summer and Winter in Casas Novas in the same year. Other names of the weekend will be the young Belgian Constant van Paesschen or Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander.
The show will be also attended by the Spanish team qualified for the Olympic Games after his sixth place in the European Championship in Aachen. Marco Fuste, team chief of the Spanish team has said that this show "help our riders to compete at the highest level, as this is one of the most important tests of Europe."
SANTI SERRA SHOW
As a complement to the show, the arena will host an unprecedented show in Casas Novas represented by Santi Serra and his released horses.
The Catalan passionate for horses has spent his entire life studying and watching the horses and has applied this knowledge to achieve taming technique based on "freedom and fun of the animals themselves" without reins or whips.
His performance will take place at 22.45 on the opening day on Friday 11th.
INVITATIONS AND USEFUL INFORMATION
The entrance to the show, which is already preparing its indoor arena competition, is free by invitation. These can be picked up at the Tourist Information point of Maria Pita (A Coruña) or own Casas Novas Equestrian Centre, among others.
As usual, those who can not get close to Casas Novas could follow the competition live streaming on Internet through the website of the equestrian center www.csicasasnovas.com or www.oxersport.com. The broadcast will feature consecutive narrative in Castilian and English, as well as the possibility of a full live ranking with detailed results of all participants.
