Vera Costa E Silva, Winner Of The Massimo Dutti Trophy
The first competition of the day, Massimo Dutti Trophy, had a strong Spanish presence involving up to ten horsemen and women of this nationality. One of the most outstanding performance was Cristina Orruño Jauregui, winner of yesterday's Inaugural Trophy, that she continues her brilliant passage through Casas Novas in the 3rd position riding Antalya with a time of 61,90 seconds.
Disputed under the table speed and handiness, finally the victory went to Vera Costa e Silva, who redress herself from the 2nd place that she obtained yesterday in the Inaugural Trophy and completed the race in 60,81 seconds. The competition was really hard-fought until the last moment, with just one second separating the first three places.
Second place was for the also Spanish Mario Rotllant Daurella and his horse Cerano with a time of 61,49 seconds, which was really close to the victory.
Casas Novas is preparing for the big day, with the celebration of the Longines Grand Prix from 6pm. The sand on the indoor track of the equestrian center will become the main focus of the equestrian world with 41 excellent horsemen and women fighting for the Grand Prix, with 500,000€ in prizes.
