Success For Spain In The Inaugural CSI Casas Novas Trophy
The nineteenth edition of the CSI Casas Novas began this morning with the celebration of the Inaugural Trophy, in which 32 couples of twelve different nationalities competed for the prize.
The 2* CSI was held from 1pm on the indoor track of the riding centre under table fault and time. The brilliant winner was the spanish rider Cristina Orruño Jauregui on his horse Antalya. Orruño came out victorious with a time of 67.08 seconds without penalties.
Second place went to the pairing formed by the portuguese rider Vera Costa e Silva and the horse Cilgen who stopped the clock at 67.08 seconds without penalties. Third place was won by Joanne Sloan-Allen riding Championes with a time of 68.57 seconds with no penalties.
The journey continues in Casas Novas with the Turkish Airlines Trophy at 3.15pm.
