Casas Novas Alumni Excited For The Top Riders’ Arrival

Sitting at first row at the grades, carrying their cameras and with lots of illusion, children who daily come to Casas Novas to ride where standing outside the arena hoping to see their idols yesterday during training. With ages between 10 and 15 years old, the group mainly feminine was like every day after school at the equestrian center but their eyes could show that something different was happening. “Just because boxes don’t look really comfortable, if not I would stay here to sleep”, said one girl the day before the CSI 5*A Coruña started. They already spent Thursday evening trying to get closer to top riders during free training and vet inspection. Moreover, they said their biggest wish was to be professionals in a world where the thing the like most Is ”the relationship that you can develop with the horse”. Their favorite ones are Jessica Kurten and Edwina Tops-Alexander. About the Irish one they say “she is fast, takes risks but always wins”; and the Australian for being the winner of Global Champions Tour. In fact they had a very special gift to give to their favorite riders: videos made by them where riders were competing. Although loving those riders, their favorites for winning the Telefonica Gran Prix are the home ones: Sergio Álvarez Moya and the Galician Manuel Añón, who they could already see on Friday evening at the arena.
