Tomorrow Starts The XXvi Edition Of The Casas Novas CSI
First day of competition
Friday's tests will begin at 12.00 pm, after the tribute to the victims of the accident, with the dispute of the Móstoles Industrial Trophy (1.35 m) in two stages at the best time. Around 15.15 pm will be held the Warsteiner Trophy with a height of 1.50 m to finish the first day of the event at 18.00 pm with the Prosegur Trophy and a Jump Off test.
Interesting Facts
A total of 62 riders and 160 horses will compete during the nine tests that will take place from Friday. They are coming from the United States, Germany, Australia, Canada, France, Great Britain, Ireland and, of course, Spain. Among participants stands out the national leader Sergio Alvarez Moya, the horsewoman Edwina Tops-Alexander, the Olympic champion Eric Lamaze, the Frenchman Kevin Staut, the legendary Michael Whitaker, the American Kent Farrington or the German Champion Daniel Deusser.
Of the nine tests that will take place during the three days of competition the largest and most important of the event is, once again, the Telefónica Grand Prix, which will bring the competition to a spectacular close, on Sunday 28th at 17.00.
Admission is free with invitation and those are being delivered in the Tourism Information offices of Maria Pita (A Coruña), the Municipal Tourism Bureau and at the Casas Novas equestrian center.
Attendees will enjoy the popular bets. Once again, the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre will donate the profit obtained from bets to the Cocina Económica at A Coruña.
