Kent Farrington Gets The Telefonica Grand Prix At Casas Novas
With great excitement in the stands the Telefónica Grand Prix began to 16.30 at Larín equestrian center. 47 horsemen and women from 15 different nationalities competed in two rounds during the most important and prestigious trophy contest.
The favorite for victory, Sergio Alvarez Moya riding Carlo 273 had two kills, very lamented in the stands, and did not qualify for the playoff. In the second round the American Kent Farrington added to its immense palmares the Telefónica Grand Prix at Casas Novas riding the horse Voyeur with a time of 47.15 seconds. It was the second time participating at Casas Novas.
In second place was Germany’s national champion Daniel Dausser riding Evita Van De Veldbalie with a time of 47.59 seconds and perhaps lacked a little luck in the contest, as took second place four times. The third in the table of honor was the U.S. also Lucy Davis with her equine Barron who stopped the clock in 48.01 seconds.
The Spanish rider Julio Arias Cueva was the winner of the best Spanish Tyco trophy with his seventh position riding Bonaire with 50.70 seconds.
