Three First Trophies Of The Summer Edition Of A Coruña´s Casas Novas International Jumping Show Go To Riders Of Three Different Nationalities
Three different national anthems were heard in the first day of the A Coruña´s Casas Novas **** international show jump competition. The first three wins of this competition went to Spain, Italy and Brazil.
The last competition of the day, the Prosegur Trophy went to Brazilian rider Pedro Veniss on his grey gelding Beaufort Van Het Lindenhof after completing a clear round in 33.57 sec. Second and third prizes went to America´s Kent Farrington on Venus in 34.24 sec. and Britain´s Guy Williams on Depardieu Vant Kiezelhof in 34.30 sec. respectively.
Spanish rider Julio Arias on Roger Moore B won the Móstoles Industrial after a clear round in 21.53 sec. and the Warsteiner Trophy, second of the day landed in the hands of Italian rider Giulia Martinengo who on the brown mare Loro Piana Athletica completed a clear round in just 57.30 sec.
In the first of the competitions, the Móstoles Industrial , Eduardo Álvarez Aznar made it to second place on Den Othello D’Auge after a clear round in 22.07 sec., the third placing went to Catalonia´s Diana Piera on Nanteuil after yet another faultless round in 23.09 sec.
The second prize of the Warsteiner Trophy, second event of the day, was won by American Richard Spooner on Apache who completed a clear round in 57.37 sec. The third prize went to another Italian, Piergiorgio Bucci on Waomi after a clear round in 57.84 sec.
The Porsche Trophy will be the first of the three competitions to take place in the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre tomorrow, Saturday 28th, commencing at 12 pm, followed by the second event of the day the La Caixa Trophy (15:00) and the NH Hoteles Trophy (18:00).
