The Spaniard Julio Arias Wins The First CSI Casas Novas Competition
Spanish rider Julio Arias Cueva and his mount Roger Moore B win the Móstoles Industrial Trophy. The couple completed a flawless round with zero penalties in 21.53”. The also Spaniard Eduardo Álvarez Aznar on Othello D’Auge finished in second place in 22,07”.
Diana Piera from Catalonia on her bay mare Nanteuil, made it to third place in 23,09” and zero faults. Other re-known international riders who participated in this first round were Marion Hughes on Crispien; Manuel Añón –second classified in the national ranking- on Fantasía, British John Whitaker on Lord of Arabia; Edwina Tops-Alexander, leader of the Global Champions Tour, on Guccio; Michel Robert from France on Felton Du Mont and Jesús Garmendia from Spain on Jumper Z.
Two new trophies will be disputed later this afternoon, the Warsteiner (15:15) and the Prosegur (18:00). There is no entrance fee and invitations are available at the entrance of Casas Novas or at the tourist information point in María Pita (Plaza de María Pita of A Coruña).
