More Than 15.000 Spectators Enjoy A Trepidant Three Day Competition At The A Coruña International Show Jumping****

More than 15.000 people congregated at A Coruña Casas Novas equestrian centre to follow the nine different events which unfolded over the weekend at the equestrian centre. Laura Kraut aboard the bay gelding Belmont capped the competition this afternoon after a polished performance in 42.25, Ms Kraut takes home the G.P. Telefónica, last trophy of this outdoor edition of the A Coruña International Show Jumping****. Australian rider Edwina Tops Alexander on Guccio took second prize whilst British John Whitaker with Argento finished in third place. Saturday 28th witnessed one of the most exciting wins of the event when Dutch rider Henk Van den Pol on Chesterfield managed to land the NH Hoteles Trophy after having covered a flawless round in just 42.26, a mere 9 seconds distanced him from the second classified, British Laura Renwick, who on Oz de Breve finished in 42.35. Brazilian Pedro Veniss on Norlan Des Etisses finished third. The GP Telefónica which was followed by an affluent audience and broadcast live by TVG2, puts an end to a thrilling three-day competition which kicked off last Friday 27th. The three trophies of the first day of the meet, the Móstoles Industrial, the Warsteiner and the Prosegur went to Spain´s Julio Arias Cueva, Italy´s Giulia Martinengo and Brazil´s Pedro Veniss respectively.
