Brazilian Pedro Veniss Wins The Banco Pastor Trophy
“I’m very happy with this result, it was very tight but in the end we were able to win”, declared the young rider. “To be honest, at the beginning the first prize was going to be for the German rider who flew during the course but after the fault and the 3 points added, it was possible for me to be ahead of the rest”, he commented.
During the second phase of the Banco Pastor Trophy every fault adds 3 seconds to the final amount of time of each rider. Thus, the second classified was Daniel Deusser –one of the stars of the CSI of Casas Novas-. Riding Vonka A., the German finished the course in only 31,10 seconds. It was quite spectacular Guy Williams performance who rode with Dukhan and obtained the third position. This fact is even more relevant if we take into account that he was penalized with 3 seconds. Portuguese Gonçalves was one of the best riders during this competition as he finished this course in 33,57 seconds by riding Una Traviata and finally got the fourth position. Fifth position was for the Australian horsewoman Edwina Alexander and Kisby, who finished the course in 33,70 seconds.
AMARYLLIS IS IN A GOOD FORM
Brazilian Veniss wanted to highlight, once the competition was finished, the outstanding form of his mare Amaryllis. “It’s a mare that is still very young, I bought it some years ago and it has won three International competitions. I think it is going to make me obtain more trophies”, assured the Brazilian sportsman.
