Olivier Robert unbeatable at the Massimo Dutti Trophy

Olivier Robert won tonight in the most difficult A Coruña's CSI 5* test, the Prize Massimo Dutti. The Gallic rider won with Eros the playoff in the 1.50 metre test, with a time of 35.97 seconds.  Robert, on the back of Eros, made a great day for the French representation since two of the highest category thropies were lift by riders from that country. 
Germany went up to the podium for its first time in Casas Novas with the second position thanks to Christian Kukuk and Limoncello NT, which were 26-hundredths from the running coupling  (36.23 seconds). The Belgian Jos Verlooy, who rode Igor, was the third winner with a time of 36.60 seconds.

The Dutch riders Maikel and Eric Van der Vleuten achieved the fourth and fifth places respectively, followed by Laura Renwick and Edwina Tops Alexander and the Belgian Françoise Mathy Ir.
Only 8 couplings in 37 were classified por the playoff round in the last prize of the day before crowded stands. With les than a second differences in many cases, the riders did their best to close the opening of the XXXVII edition of the 'coruñés competition. All of them but Mathy ended up without faults.
 
SATURDAY'S PROGRAMME
This Saturday 8th December, three Prizes will be played in A Coruña's indoor course: The Prize Lexus, of the 2* competition and which will be held from 14.30h onwards; the Prize Marqués de Riscal, of the 2* competition as well, 1.40 meters and at 17.30h; and the Grand Prize Longines, of the 5* competition, 1.60 meters with breakpoints. The Spanish rider who is better classified in this test will be awarded, in addition, with the Prize Tyco. 
 
Yesterday, the equestrian center in Larín (Arteixo) already registered the first applauses from the local audience, who attended their appointment with the highest-level riding, as every year. However, a mass influx for tomorrow Saturday and Sunday is expected, with which the growing excitement about the Grand Prize Longines FEI World Cup - Caixabank Trophy, which will close this winter edition in Casas Novas in style.
