Alejandro Álvarez and Leonardo Medal proudly accomplish an Asturian podium at the Lexus Trophy

An unbeatable Alejandro Álvarez Gutiérrez took the first win of the day in the CSI5*-W / CSI2* in La Coruña, in the Lexus Trophy. The young Asturian rider was the first to enter the course with Califa Sa, completing the circuit in 59.53-seconds, which no other rider could beat. The next best time was of Leonardo Medal, who at the last moment came close to winning with a total of just 60.62 seconds with Eyre de Saro. They were also the only runs that were completed without any penalty in this test of speed and maneuverability with jumps above 1.30 meters.

Both managed to repeat their success, as yesterday, on the first day of the event, they exchanged roles where it was Leonardo who won the Inaugural Trophy, and Alejandro who classified second riding the same horses.

And in third place, the lovely María López de la Vara who also smiled proudly with a total time of 65.53 seconds. Unfortunatley this time, Alejandro Entrecanales did not make it in the top three, who yesterday made a podium but today he settled for fourth place with Ugo Du Plessis. Finally, the Galician Javier Fino González Fraga finished sixth with Bubalú, behind Irene Mónica Horvath with Chypre du Reve, meaning that Spain were the leading riders.
