The best riders in the world meet in a new winter edition of the CSI 5*W A Coruña.
Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann will come to Casas Novas with the intention of keeping the number 1 of the FEI ranking.
Next Friday, December 6th, a new edition of the CSI A Coruña will start at the Casas Novas Equestrian Center (Arteixo). A competition in which the fans of this sport will be able to enjoy the performance of the best riders of the international scene.
Among the wide range of athletes who will jump into the indoor arena of the Galician enclosure, one stands out in a special way. This is the case of the Swedish Henrik von Eckermann, leader of the ranking for more than two years and current World Cup champion in show jumping. His presence is always synonymous with spectacle, ensuring a high level for lovers of this discipline.
The Nordic rider is not the only one who will attract the attention of the attendees next weekend, as the list of participants in Casas Novas has an enviable level. Among the names on the list is Max Kühner, an Austrian rider with a long career who has competed seven times in the Olympic Games and is currently in seventh place in the ranking. Next to him, another name of his own, Simon Delestre, number 12 in the ranking. The French rider already knows what it means to win in Casas Novas after his triumph in the Longines Grand Prix 2021, a feat he will try to repeat in this edition.
In the five-star category tests we can also enjoy a regular at CSI Casas Novas and one of the most charismatic riders on the scene, Maikel van der Vleuten, as well as the best ranked Spanish rider in FEI, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar, and riders like Jeanne Sadran or the young Jennifer Hochstaedter, who we could already see jumping with great skill in Casas Novas this past summer.
Attendees will be able to enjoy an exciting sporting event, where riders and horsewomen of the international equestrian scene will offer a show of the highest level. In addition, the competition can be followed live on the web www.csicasasnovas.com.
