The TVE sports channel will offer summaries of the Longines FEI World Cup Grand Prix - CaixaBank Trophy and the Longines Grand Prix, held last weekend during the 35th edition of the International Show Jumping Competition of La Coruna.

The first program will be broadcast on Thursday 14 starting at 7:30 p.m. and the second one on Friday 15 at 1pm.
This afternoon, starting at 6:30 pm, Eurosport 1 will dedicate an hour and a half of its programming to the Longines FEI World Cup Grand Prix - CaixaBank Trophy in La Coruna and the Casas Novas Equestrian Center, which hosted the event last Sunday.

The program of this seventh leg of the Western European League of the Longines FEI World Cup of the 2017-2018 season, will be broadcasted from 6:30 p.m. and will have an hour duration.

Next, at 7:30 p.m., the Horse Excellence program will offer a half-hour report on the Casas Novas Equestrian Center.
Longines FEI World Cup returns to Casas Novas, after its premiere last year. The level was very high, proof of this was that only 8 riders qualified for the jump off. All the spotlights of the jumping world were in Casas Novas, with a full house in the equestrian center. A Coruña's competition is the seventh stage of 2017-2018 Western European League. The fans could enjoy the best jumping show in the world.

Another Spanish victory at Casas Novas where Sara Salom has won this afternoon the Tyco Grand Prix, the big test of the 2* contest. The Catalan horsewoman, on the back of Clear Concert, did not give her opponents an option in the jump off, with 40.06 seconds, more than three seconds over the following one. It was Galician rider Roi Calviño who competed supported by the local fans, although he could not get off the 43.81 seconds riding Enjoy. In the third place, the Belgian Celine Schoonbroodt-de Azevedo, who made a great time, 37.56, but made one takedown.
The top riders of the jumping circuit were seen in the first 5* of the day. Many of them are favorites for the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping presented by CaixaBank. Finally, the winner of the Prosegur Trophy was Emanuele Gaudiano, which received its distinction from the hands of José Santos Cavado from Prosegur.

The day began in Casas Novas with 29 riders disputing the Eroski Center Trophy in the arena of the International Jumping Show. The start list has a huge Spanish presence, with up to twenty national riders, but the victory goes to Mexico.

It was Mariel Victoria Aguirre who did the best time without penalties, 28.72 seconds, on the back of Taormina. Eutimio García, from Eroski, gave the winner the Trophy. The Mexican is making a great weekend, with two victories and a third place.

The first big competition in Casas Novas International Jumping Show was the Longines Grand Prix. Fans enjoyed a really exciting struggle among some of the best riders of this modality.     

In the jump off, the rider Sameh El Dahan got the first position on the back of Suma's Zorro with a time of 33.61 seconds in the jump off. It was the first victory of the Egyptian in Casas Novas.

Almost 45 pairs competed to take the Dachser Trophy and it was disputed really hard with a lot of talent in A Coruña’s center. The test of 2* had a high sport level of horses and riders. The test, which was disputed in scale fault & time and 1.40 meters high, was very difficult, even with some refusals. Also, it served for the audience as a vibrant prelude to the Grand Prix.

The International Show Jumping Competition of A Coruña began today with another Spanish victory thanks to the triumph of Javier González Fraga in the Lexus Trophy. The competition was the first test of the day in Casas Novas.

It was a great night for Netherlands in the CSI5*-W A Coruña, with the great triumph of Maikel van der Vleuten in the Massimo Dutti Trophy, the test of more difficulty of those disputed today in the equestrian center of Casas Novas. 

The rider, sixth in the World Ranking, was the only one capable of resisting the pressure and surpassing the time of his compatriot Leopold van Asten. Van der Vleuten was gold at the last World Equestrian Games, and this year he won the Grand Prix at the stage of the World Cup in Verona. 

Julien Epaillard has the honor to win the first test of the CSI5* this Casas Novas edition stopping the clock in 64.30 seconds riding Instit de Jucaso. The Frenchman already knows how to win in Casas Novas, with two victories in the Grand Prix in 2006 and 2015. The rider did a brilliant competition and the second classified was three seconds later than him. Epaillard arrived to Casas Novas after winning last week the Longines Speed Challenge in Paris. 

With a very good assistance in the stands of the equestrian center, the Spanish rider Alberto Márquez Galobardes take the victory in the second competition of the CSI2*, the Marqués de Riscal Trophy. It was the first triumph in the weekend of a local rider.

The first day of competition in Casas Novas has started with the celebration of the Inaugural Trophy, test of the CSI 2*. It was the first opportunity for the fans to enjoy the riders competing on the track of the equestrian center.

Everything is already prepared in the equestrian center of Casas Novas, (Arteixo, A Coruña, Spain) to celebrate again a competition of the highest level and to enjoy the best riders of its modality.

With no doubt, a large part of the spotlight of the equestrian world will be in A Coruña since tomorrow, especially, on the 11 tests that will be held in the indoor arena of Casas Novas, seventh stage of the Western European League of the World Cup.

Just two days to start the competition in Casas Novas, today's day has been highlighted by the great activity in the stables with the arrival of several trucks with more horses participating in the International Show Jumping Competition that begins this Friday .

Between the horses that have arrived this morning are the horses of the German Daniel Deusser, that will participate with Cornet 39 and Cornet D'Amour.

Casas Novas International Jumping Show has a list of triumphs filled out of sporting feats and unforgettable victories from the best riders in the world that have made it a national and international reference in its category.

Since its first edition, the interest of the riders, sponsors and fans has increased in each contest, thanks to which has managed to bring the best binomials of the circuit in all editions, which, as expected, have competed brilliantly leaving many anecdotes and memorable performances.

Some 180 horses and a hundred riders, representing twenty-four countries, will take part in the 35th edition of the International Show Jumping Competition of La Coruna, which will be held from December 8th to 10th at Casas Novas Equestrian Center.

The best riders of the moment will participate in the CSI5*W competitions. For example, German rider Daniel Deusser and French rider Julien Epaillard, who both obtained greats results in the last outdoor equestrian conquest of the international calendar, which was hold last weekend in Paris.

The CSI5*W of La Coruna will start next Friday. The opening day will offer four competitions and also the equestrian show of Santi Serra, which will start at 10:45 pm.

Under the title "Purity", Serra will offer a fantastic show in which the horses in freedom will combine games with high dressage exercises. His way of training and working gives priority to animal freedom. "I do not want a submission in freedom, I want the free horse in its splendor and working happy," Santi Serra said.

The Colombian rider won the Grand Prix Longines FEI World Cup - CaixaBank Trophy last year and his horses are now resting at Casas Novas Equestrian Center.

The preparations at Casas Novas Equestrian Center do not stop and the whole team is already intensifying its activity with the aim of having everything ready for next week. In the stables area, they continue to receive the trucks in which the great equine stars of the competition travel and about twenty horses already rest in the facilities of the equestrian center of La Coruna.
