The CSI4* A Coruña has been reclaimed as a benchmark of international  show jumping competitions. As always, the Galician public was really supportive and enjoyed each class with great excitement. Casas Novas was filled fith people during the three days both in the stands and in the surrounding areas, where people of all ages enjoyed the equestrian and leisure offer.
A resounding success in the XXXIV edition of the CSI4* A Coruña; an edition that many already consider one of the best editions of this summer show hosted by Casas Novas.
The Galician climate gave some respite to both riders and spectators, accompanying with clear and sunny days a weekend full of both sports and attendance triumphs. Few times Casas Novas has seen the stands so full since early hours of the morning. The Galician public went to the installations in Larín to enjoy the first class of the day and the different entertainments that the center offered.


A determined Jaclyn Duff proclaimed herself winner of the CaixaBank Grand Prix. The Canadian, who had already been the first to finish the First Round without fault, was able to resist the pressure and faced a final course with an amazing time of 44.23 seconds. And that earned the 30-year-old rider her first International Grand Prix of 4*, after competing in Knokke and Calgary.

"All good thing come in threes," must have thought Julien Epaillard when Safari d'Auge began to gallop on the Casas Novas arena in the Prosegur Trophy. And so he did. The Frenchman left off his rivals with a clear and fast course, which has served him to celebrate his third victory in the CSI4* A Coruña. His time, 57.93 seconds, was impossible to overcome for the 15 binomials that were left.

It was well-known that Julien Epaillard was not going to go unnoticed in the CSI4* A Coruña, and hi confirmed it this morning by winning his second class of the event, the Eroski Trophy. As happened on Friday in the Trofeo Marqués de Riscal, with which the show was opened, Sheriff de la Nutria LM returned to lead the French to victory in this class, in a time of 46,45 seconds. With this, the French participation adds its third trophy this weekend in Casas Novas: the two from Epaillard and the one from Aldrick Cheronnet in the Dascher Trophy.

The Canadian rider, Yann Candele, won the Longines Trophy, after beating everyone else in a thrilling Winning Round. Candele, member of the national team of Canada, riding Usa Normande was number 12 in the Start List but that did not stopped him from setting an amazing time of 41,82 seconds. A quota that until that moment no rival had achieved, and that only Gudrun Patteet and Sea Coast Ideo d'O were able to approach being the last rider in the arena. The Belgian, who in 2016 won the same Trophy, tried hard but finally finished second with a time of 42.18 seconds.

The rider Kevin González de Zárate got the first Spanish triumph in CSI4* A Coruña this afternoon, when he won the Massimo Dutti Trophy. Riding Quattila de Glos, the Basque finished with a time of 57.52 seconds. The rider is facing his first competitions with this 13-year-old, the same with which he was second yesterday in the Trofeo Marqués de Riscal and seventh in the Lexus Trophy this morning.

The team formed by Luis Sabino Gonçalves and Teck de Riverland took the Lexus Trophy, first test of the day in Casas Novas. The Portuguese rider made a perfect course in a time of 53.98 seconds, and no one was able to take him down from the first position. Not even the incredible Aldrick Cheronnet who, even though, was back on the podium. Gonçalves adds the first Portuguese victory in this edition of CSI4* A Coruña.

Today was his big day. The Frenchman Aldrick Cheronnet signed the day with his triumph in the Dachser Trophy in an incredible performance, where he has climbed to the podium in all three tests: he was third in the Trofeo Marqués de Riscal and second in the NH Collection.
Only 9 of the 43 participants in the 1.45 meter test were classified for the tiebreaker, completing the course without penalties and in less than 85 seconds. No Spanish representative managed to be among them.
The Canadian Tiffany Foster this afternoon raised the NH Collection Trophy.Tiffany Foster, riding Brighton, was the only one able to snatch the first place from the Frenchman Aldrick Cheronnet, who was third this morning in the Marqués de Riscal Trophy, and with a time of 65.61 seconds seemed to cling to the first place. But with a seamless run and a time of 65.53 seconds, Foster proved that the challenges are made to overcome them. She was accompanied on the podium by Cheronnet himself and another Frenchman, Reynald Angot, who finished with 66.49 seconds, riding Symphonie des Biches.
The XXXVI edition of CSI4* A Coruña began today at 11:30 with the Marqués de Riscal Trophy. The sun shone brightly on the larinesa track where riders from 16 different countries were animated by the Galician public.
Casas Novas is synonymous with top level facilities, just like the CSI4 * A Coruña is synonymous with an elite competition. That is why when the best riders in the world get a victory in this contest, they return to test their luck.

The traditional International Jumping Competition of A Coruña returns another year on the last weekend of July to Casas Novas. Three days of competition in which 9 tests will be held, 6 of which score for the international ranking, With heights between 1.35m and 1.60m and with a prizes bag of 263,000 €.

The Casas Novas Equestrian Center hosts the thirty-fourth edition of the CSI4 * from 28 to 30 July.
Because of the cancellation of several international competitions such as Biarritz (FRA), Vimeiro (POR) or Segovia (ESP) during the month of July, the RFHE and Casas Novas have reached an agreement whereby there will be more Spanish riders competing than previous years (up to a total of 20) that will be awarded according to the approved selection criteria (according to ranking FEI).
Additionally, the Casas Novas Equestrian Center will invite 17 other Spanish riders.
The Casas Novas Equestrian Center will host the XXXIV edition of CSI A Coruña from 28 to 30 July. The total amount of prizes is 260,000 euros, of which 91,500 will be distributed on Sunday at the Grand Prix Caixabank.

The premier sporting event will bring together the best national and international horse jumping stars, which will be measured throughout the nine tests scheduled from July 28 to 30.
Once again, Lexus will collaborate with Casas Novas in the International Show Jumping as sponsor of the Lexus Trophy and official vehicle of the show, and will bring to the organization a fleet to transport riders and staff.
Summer after summer the International Show Jumping of A Coruña receives the best riders and the Galician public in the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre. The show and the Equestrian Center have grown hand in hand from the beginning, back in 2000, always trying to promote the equestrian culture of the area. These events are traditionally held in July in the outdoor arena, and in December in the indoor arena. So every summer, and winter after winter, these competitions have been filled with anecdotes the history of Casas Novas.
